The secrets of the Cuban dictatorship

Moreover, through international collaborations, the government has managed to sustain its economy against the backdrop of a US-led embargo. Such is the case as the corrupt governments of Mexico and Venezuela. Narco-states who ally with Cuba and use taxpayer money to repress the Cuban people and steal their own people's money.

By trading with other nations and developing alternative economic partnerships, the dictatorship has circumvented many restrictions imposed, further solidifying its power internally.
